This research group actively collaborates with numerous companies. Three approved technical research services are offered:

Elimination and energy recovery form wastewaters by hydrothermal technologies

Application of high pressure processes for the treatment of wet biomass and industrial wastewaters by oxidation (complete elimination to CO2 and H2O) or gasification (conversion into hydrogen and other combustible gases).

Extraction, purification, impregnation and encapsulation of agri-food products using sustainable processes

Application of sustainable processes such as supercritical extraction, pressurized liquid solvents, extraction with ultrasounds … in the separation of natural agri-food products as well as in any field of Chemical and Process Engineering. Application of supercritical impregnation process of natural compounds in polymers for biomedical and agrifood sectors.

Synthesis and encapsulation of nanoparticles of pharmaceutical compounds using supercritical technology

Clean technology that allows obtaining micro and nanoparticles with controlled size, size distribution and morphology. Application to active pharmaceutical ingredients, generation of encapsulates, or composites, in biocompatible polymers using a product free of solvent by the supercritical fluid technology.
