The research group ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF SUPERCRITICAL FLUIDS PROCESSES is located at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Cádiz.
The group leader is ENRIQUE MARTINEZ DE LA OSSA FERNÁNDEZ.
Our Research activity covers the following areas:
Solubility of compounds in supercritical CO2.
- Precipitation of substances with high added value.
Microencapsulation of active substances.
Extraction and purification of active compounds from various agri-food raw by-products.
- Impregnation of active substances in different matrices.
Purification and valorization of wastewaters by oxidation in subcritical and supercritical water.
- Supercritical gasification of wet biomass waste to produce fuel gases (H2, CH4,..).
Liquefaction of aqueous waste and wet biomass to produce liquid fuels.
